Collins Promise Scholarship


Collins Career Technical Center provides a scholarship opportunity for Lawrence County graduates to help cover some of their tuition costs. You can be eligible for the Collins Promise Scholarship opportunity in two ways.

Option 1: Traditional

$2,000 towards your program tuition.

Requirements:

  • Must have graduated from any Lawrence County, Ohio high school*.
  • Must enroll in one of our programs in the school year immediately following high school graduation.

Option 2: Continuing Education

$1,000 towards your program tuition.

Requirements:

  • Must have graduated from any Lawrence County, Ohio high school*.
  • Must enroll in one of our programs within five years after high school graduation.

How to apply:

Proof of graduation must be provided through a copy of your high school diploma or transcript, which is a requirement of your application. Students must schedule an appointment with financial aid within two weeks of their program start date to be considered for this scholarship opportunity. The student will fill out the scholarship application form during the financial aid meeting to declare eligibility.

* - Lawrence County, Ohio, high schools included in this opportunity are Chesapeake, Dawson-Bryant, Fairland, Ironton, Rock Hill, South Point, St. Joseph (Ironton), Sugar Creek, Symmes Valley, and Tri-State STEM+M.
